Vintage Bad Brains "Rise" Poster

Notify me when this product is available:

This original vintage Bad Brains poster is for their fifth studio album and major label debut Rise, released in 1993. Bad Brains were the first hardcore band ever, beginning in the late 70s self-releasing their debut single Pay To Cum in 1980. They revolutionized hardcore and music, they were an all-Black band who blended reggae and hardcore and punk, and played, performed, and wrote songs better than any other band to ever play aggressive music. Rise was released during an interesting time in the band's history — singer H.R. had left the band and drummer Earl Hudson was replaced by Mackie Jayson of the Cro-Mags. Israel Joseph I took over vocal duties. This poster, with a slightly expanded version of the album cover's great psychedelic looking geometric art, advertises the album and the subsequent tour that apparently went everywhere. There is a tear and surface marks and creases throughout the poster.

Dimensions: 36.25" Wide by 42" Long
