Vintage Prince And The Revolution "Purple Rain" Warner Brothers Promotional Subway Poster

Prince and his band The Revolution released Purple Rain in 1984. It was his sixth album. And while people may have been familiar with his maximalist, expertly crafted songs that were both funky, technical, and intuitive, this one hit it big. Really big. It went to #1 in the US, as well as a few other countries, and went on to well 13 million copies in the States alone. Prince's career lasted for many years after and was constantly prolific, however many still regard Purple Rain to be some of his finest work, thanks in part to such songs as "When Doves Cry," "I Would Die 4 U," and the titular "Purple Rain." This original Prince Purple Rain poster is in good condition with surface creases, corner wear, and a small tear near the bottom left corner.

Dimensions: 46" Wide by 59" Long
