From the earliest days of the hardcore, Washington, DC has always had a great scene. There were bands, labels, and venues all dedicated to creating and fostering subversive ideals and good music. In the early 1980s, the scene had its first big boom. Bands like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Government Issue, and State Of Alert were releasing records and showing the world the DC sound. Shortly after, more bands began forming. This initial era of harDCore lasted until about 1983 and has since been eulogized and idolized. On April 30, a great representation of the early DC scene all played together at the legendary Wilson Center. The show included: Artificial Peace, Void, Double-O, Minor Threat, Common Cause, Iron Cross, and The Faith. This original Wilson Center flyer is in excellent condition with two pinholes and small tear extending from one.

Dimensions: 8.5" Wide by 11" Long
