The world renowned international art fair Art Basel began in 1970 in Basel, Switzerland. In its first year, the fair attracted 16,000 guests and hosted 90 galleries. Now, decades later, the fair takes places over three continents with tens of thousands of guests at every edition, in Basel, Miami, FL, and Hong Kong. In 1975, the art show was still only in Switzerland. One of the artist showing work that year was Neil Korpi, an American Post Modern painter born in 1942. This poster, with wear and rips on the top and bottom, is from the 1975 edition of Art Basel and features a colorful wormhole painted by Neil Korpi. Please see photos for additional detail of poster wear.
