Joey Keithley became Joey Shithead when he helped form the Vancouver, BC hardcore band D.O.A. in 1978 alongside Chuck Biscuits and Randy Rampage. The band helped establish the sound and style of the then-new hardcore scene, separating it from punk by being more aggressive, more independent, and more message driven. Joey Shithead continues to play guitar and sing for the band to this day and has even transferred his passion for political action into a political career as he is now a city councillor for Burnaby, BC. This original Joey Shithead photo is in great condition.
