Odense is a city in Denmark, the third largest in the country actually. People have lived there for a very long time. One of the most famous citizens of Odense is Hans Christian Andersen, the 19th century the writer who is world famous for his fairy tales. Andersen was born in Odense in 1805. To this day, Andersen is all over Odense, with the H.C. Andersen Museum, a set of Andersen-associated buildings, being a huge attraction and the local airport being named the Hans Christian Andersen Airport. This vintage poster, with very little wear and tear, pays tribute to Hans Christian Andersen and his hometown Odense, Denmark with a beautiful rendition of his childhood home, which is now part of the Andersen Museum. Would look great in a frame!
