Gwar is a metal band from Richmond, VA founded in 1984. They are incredibly theatrical, with an intricate stage show and story behind the band. During their founding, they created a label/production company/studio space they called Slave Pit. Eventually it turned into a real company that was responsible for releasing their music and videos. The band also signed to more notable labels, like Metal Blade, but always released things with and were connected to Slave Pit Inc. This original Gwar promo photo glossy has a vertical crease down the middle.
