Fugazi, the legendary four-piece group from Washington, DC, played at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ. Maxwell's was founded in 1978 and quickly became a venue of a certain significance. It was relatively small but hosted a lot of bands that would go on to become much larger, bands like Fugazi or Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins. Fugazi's show there on October 8, 1989 was their third time there, and second that year. They played alongside Holy Rollers at the end of a tour in the north east and had just released their second EP Margin Walker and were simultaneously gearing up to release their debut LP Repeater. This original Fugazi ticket is from their show at Maxwell's on October 8, 1989.
