Vintage David Bowie "White Light/White Heat" Subway Poster

The Velvet Underground released their second album White Light/White Heat in 1968. David Bowie, a huge Velvet Underground fan and amazing musician, started covering the title track in the early 70s. He regularly performed the song and recordered live versions of it on various occasions, like two different BBC sessions and recordings from the Ziggy Stardust tour. In 1983, Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture, which was recorded at the London gig on the Ziggy Stardust tour a decade earlier, was released as a film and a live album. Bowie's "White Light/White Heat" cover, the penultimate track from the set, was released as a single to promote the album. This enormous original David Bowie poster, in great condition with normal edge wear and  tape residue and pinholes in the corners, is a vintage promotional piece advertising the 1983 "White LIght/White Heat" single.
