dc space was a venue in Washington, DC that existed from 1977 to 1991. Located on 7th Street and E St NW, the club was home to many different scenes and styles. They hosted amazing shows from everyone from locals like Fugazi to jazz legends like Sun Ra to modern classical wizards like Phillip Glass to the best hardcore band ever, the Bad Brains. And beyond music, they also hosted any number of interesting art events, like comedy or independent movies or anything in between. In April 1988, they hosted such shows and events as: Moss Icon, The Hated, John Zorn, a group art show, comedy, and much, much more. This original dc space flyer is from April 1988 calendar and has a few minuscule tears and tape repairs.
