Vintage Arizona State University "African Arts" 1985 Exhibition And Symposium Poster

In 1985, Arizona State University, then celebrating it's centennial anniversary, hosted an exhibition and, during its opening days, a symposium on African art. The Exhibition, which ran from April to October, was entitled "Animal, Bird, And Myth in African Art." The Symposium was entitled "Traditional, Transitional, And Contemporary African Art." While we can't visit the show any more or hear the thought-provoking lectures, we can at least remember it with its poster, which was beautifully designed by Rosemary Connelly. This vintage African Arts poster from ASU is in great condition with some wear and creasing from previous folds and minor edge wear.

Dimensions: 16"" Wide by 22.25" Long
