Bauhaus are an English post punk band founded in 1978. The band's initial run was fairly short, they only lasted until 1983, but in that time they released four albums which were all massively influential and important. They were one of the earliest signings of the label 4AD but grew so big they had to move up to Beggars Banquet, 4AD's parent label, where they released more charting albums. They reunited several times since their breakup, including a stint in the mid 2000s that ended with a new record. They have been active again since 2019. And the whole time it's been with the same lineup: Peter Murphy, Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins. This vintage Bauhaus poster, with signs of wear and age as well as some repairs, advertises their live album, 1982's Press Eject And Give Me The Tape.
