Johnnie Taylor was a singer. He began working in the 1950s and spent the rest of the century singing songs of various styles with various groups on various labels. Taylor sang on Billboard charting records for Stax, Columbia, RCA, and Malaco and earned the reputation as one of the best and most important singers. He was inducted into the National Rhythm And Blues Hall Of Fame in 2015 and  Blues Hall Of Fame in 2022, as well as being nominated for three Grammys. This original Johnnie Taylor poster, with signs of aging and wear as well as a small tear on the top left corner, is from a concert January 19 with Lynn White.
