Vintage RUN DMC "Tougher Than Leather" Run's House Crewneck Sweatshirt

Run-DMC were a hip hop trio founded in 1983 from Hollis, a neighborhood in Queens, NY. The group, which featured rappers Run and DMC backed by DJ Jam Master Jay, released their debut, self-titled album in 1984. It was the first rap record to be certified Gold. And from there, their career just continued to take off, as they released Platinum and Multi-Platinum albums which cemented them as one of most important rap groups to ever exist. In 1988, they released their fourth album Tougher Than Leather. The Platinum-album's opener is the song "Run's House," a song that asserted their dominance and was also later used as the title for Run's MTV reality show. Sadly, they broke up when Jam Master Jay was murdered at his studio in 2002. This original Run-DMC crewneck sweatshirt, worn in and faded in great condition, is from their 1988 "Run's House" world tour in support of Tougher Than Leather
