The Germs were a Los Angeles, CA-based punk band formed in 1976 by singer Darby Crash and guitarist Pat Smear after they were both kicked out high school. Despite the band's chaotic start, they became one of the most important names in LA punk, especially after the release of their only LP (GI) in 1979 on Slash Records. The band broke up after the death of Crash, but after the release of the band's biopic they reunited with actor Shane West who played Crash in the film. In 1981, The Germs released a live record entitled Germicide from their set at the Whiskey in 1977. The album cover featured a live shot of Crash in what the record called their first ever performance. This late 90s fanmade Germs crewneck, in excellent condition, features the album art to their 1981 live album Germicide
