L.L. Bean the human (real name Leon Leonwood Bean) founded L.L. Bean the clothing company in 1912 in Freeport, ME. Now, over a century later, the same clothing company is run out of the same town with the same goals: create simple, practical, nice-looking clothing that lasts. Though you can still buy some nice Bean stuff at one of their many stores (or through their catalog), the vintage stuff is there for those who want something that is already time tested and proven, and stylish as well.
This vintage L.L. Bean barn jacket, in the classic forest green colorway, shows some wear. There are rips (pictured) near both cuffs, as well as some fraying at the bottom hem, along with the usual light wear and tear.
