Vintage Champion "Holy Cross" Windbreaker Jacket

Champion introduced their iconic little red and blue C logo in 1956, 37 years after the company began in 1919 as Knickerbocker Knitting Mills. By 56, Champion had already established themselves as the premier sportswear brand, patenting their reverse weave technology. They had also invented the collegiate sweatshirt. Champion still exist to this day, having been in business for over a century now. Their clothes don't look too different now from how they did in the mid 20th century, they just happened to get a lot of things really right early on. Whether you want comfort or athletic ability, Champion has been the go to choice for generations, with their vintage pieces becoming especially sought after. This vintage Champion windbreaker, nicely worn with some yellowing from prolonged storage, is from Holy Cross.
