Vintage Charlotte Hornets "Larry Johnson" Champion Basketball Jersey

After a successful career at UNLV, including a NCAA Championship in 1990, power forward Larry Johnson was selected first overall by the Charlotte Hornets in 1991, an NBA expansion team founded a few seasons earlier in 1988. Johnson won Rookie Of The Year and helped take Hornets from newbies to serious playoff contenders alongside his teammates Alonzo Mourning and Muggsy Bogues. LJ injured his back in 1993, after signing the most lucrative contract ever in NBA history, and was forced to change up his playing style. This, alongside growing animosity between teammates, ultimately led to his being traded to the New York Knicks in 1996, whom he played with until his eventual retirement in 2001. This original Larry Johnson Champion brand Charlotte Hornets jersey, in great condition, is perfect for any fan.
