The Obsessed are a heavy metal band from Rockville, MD founded in 1976. They band, which is led by guitarist and singer Scott "Wino" Weinrich, have taken several breaks in the career, but they are still active to this day. Throughout their tenure, they have had many member changes and a lot of releases (although only four albums). They have become to be regarded as one of the most important and influential American heavy metal bands due to their incredible musicality and songwriting, even though they were mostly underground until Wino's stint in Saint Vitus. In 1994, the band released The Church Within, their third album. It was co-released by Hellhound and major label Columbia. After its release, the band took a significant hiatus. This original boxy fitting Obsessed shirt, nicely worn and faded, is from their 1994 album The Church Within.
