Bolt Thrower were an English death metal band. The group formed in 1986 playing a different style of aggressive music, but quickly settled into their own only a few years into their career when they released their debut album in 1988. Six years later, they were releasing their fifth album, ... For Victory. The album was again released by Earache and was also their last to feature drummer Andrew Whale, who was replaced after its release by Martin Kearns who stayed with the band the rest of their career. Bolt Thrower toured constantly and continued releasing music over their 30 year history before ultimately breaking up in 2016 after Kearns's passing. This original Bolt Thrower tour shirt, nicely worn and faded with a couple pin sized holes, is from their European tour in support of 1994's ... For Victory.
