Suicidal Tendencies formed in 1980. The Venice, CA-based group started out as a hardcore punk band and found their way to the top of the scene with records on Frontier and music videos on MTV. By the end of the decade, they transitioned into a trash metal band. And then, shortly thereafter, brought some funk influence into the fold. This unique sound, paired with their aggressive and awesome aesthetic, catapulted the band into mainstream success. Two of their records went Gold during this era. Suicidal has continued on ever since with a rotating but stellar cast of characters, from Thundercat to Robert Trujillo to Rocky George to Dave Lombardo. This original Suicidal Tendencies hat is in nicely worn in great condition.
