The Alfred Hitchcock-directed Psycho, originally released in 1960, was a landmark event for horror films. It is still regarded as one of the best horror movies ever made. Hitchcock died in 1980. Three years after his death, Richard Franklin, an Australian director and Hitchcock mentee, was tapped to direct a sequel to Pyscho, aptly named Psycho II. There was a lot of pressure on Franklin, but he secured Anthony Perkins to reprise his role as Norman Bates with a Tom Holland script. Psycho II was a success, earning both big numbers at the box office and critical praise. This ominous Psycho II shirt, nicely worn and faded, is an amazing promo piece from a great sequel.
