After the breakup of his bands The Misfits and Samhain, singer Glen Danzig started Danzig, his aptly named solo band, in 1987. Their debut self-titled record was produced by Rick Rubin and released by his label Def American. And their sophomore effort, Danzig II: Lucifuge, featured the same credits. The band was getting bigger but their original core remained intact. Chuck Biscuits, Eerie Von, and John Christ backed Danzig playing soulful yet scary songs. The record was a hit — it went to #45 on the Billboard Charts — and it has since achieved classic status with his fans. To support the record, the band went on a tour they dubbed Long Way Back From Hell Tour, a reference to the album's opening track. The tour lasted from June to August and hit all the big cities across the US, and even some smaller markets like Allentown, PA and Fresno, CA. Danzig the band has continued on to the present day, even with Glen reuniting with the original Misfits lineup since 2016. This original Danzig shirt, with light wear and fade, was made for the crew on his 1990 Long Way Back From Hell Tour in support of Danzig II: Lucifuge
