The Tubes are a San Francisco-based rock band that has been active since 1972. In 1985, the band released the Todd Rundgren-produced Love Bomb on Capital Records. The band toured in support of the new album, both on their own and with Todd Rundgren. On May 12, 1985, The Tubes played a university-presented Spring Concert alongside R&B group The S.O.S. Band, blues guitarist Johnny Copeland, and singer songwriter Elliot Easton. This original security shirt, with light marks from prolonged storage, is from the May 1985 show with The Tubes, S.O.S. Band, Johnny Copeland, and Elliot Easton.
