Testament are a trash metal band from the Bay Area of California. Formed in 1983, they have spent nearly four decades as one of the premier metal bands in the world. Not only did they help popularize the style, but they sold millions of albums in the process. The band's earliest lineup included Alex Skolnik, Chuck Billy, Eric Peterson, Louie Clemente, and Greg Christian. Skolnik, Billy, and Peterson are still in the band to this day. The original lineup lasted into the early 90s, but they first appeared on their debut album The Legacywhich was released in 1987 on Megaforce. The record featured the song "First Strike Is Deadly." This vintage Testament shirt from the 80s, in excellent condition, features references to two songs off of The Legacy: "First Strike Is Deadly" on the front and "C.O.T.L.O.D." on the back.
