Shawn Michaels is a professional wrestler. He made his debut in 1985 and came to the WWF as part of a tag team duo The Rockers in 1987. Michaels rose the ranks alongside his tag teammate Marty Janetty, but it was when he became the Heartbreak Kid that he really became a superstar. During the next decade, he ended up founding Degeneration-X, winning 14 WWF/E championship belts, and becoming one of the most important figures in the history of professional wrestling.
