In 2001, Pantera went on the road in support of their ninth and final album Reinventing The Steel. Pantera had been going strong since 1981, although they didn't really settle into their sound until a few years after Phil Anselmo joined the band in the late 80s. The band spent the 90s redefining mainstream metal with records like Cowboys From Hell and Vulgar Display Of Power, and Reinventing The Steel followed that same trajectory. Unfortunately, due to inner band tensions, they would split up shortly after, in 2003. One year later, Dimebag Darrell was tragically killed at a show in Columbus, OH. This original Pantera shirt, deadstock with a few light marks, is from the band's final tour in 2001 in support of Reinventing the Steel.
