Vintage Overkill "Christmas On Speed" We Don't Care T-Shirt

Overkill is a trash metal band from New Jersey founded in 1980. They released their sophomore album Taking Over in 1987 on Megaforce, a metal label underr major label Atlantic. As thrash metal was breaking through to the mainstream, Overkill found some substantial success, breaking into Billboard's top 200 and getting consistent airplay on MTV's Headbangers Ball. They also went on tour with some of the biggest names in metal that year, like Megadeth and Helloween. So in support of Taking Over, the band hit the road and went to Europe for a month and brought hits like "Use Your Head" to the public. During that run, they played Leeds, UK on December 13. A recording of the set was released as a live album entitled Christmas On Speed . Overkill are still active to this day, and still led by Carlo "D.D." Verni and Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth. This original Overkill shirt, nicely faded and worn, is from the release of Christmas On Speed in 1987.
