Michael Cooper was a shooting guard for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1978 to 1990. A member of the Showtime era of the Lakers, Cooper won five NBA championships and even won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year in 1987. Since retiring from professional basketball, Cooper has coached various teams, from the WNBA to the D-League to now working with a high school basketball team.
