Gary Numan, the British new wave musician, released Warriors, his fifth solo album, in 1983. Like all of his records before, it was released on Beggars Banquet, but it marked a period of change for Numan. He worked with a co-producer for the first time, lost bassist Pino Pallodino, and left Beggars after its release. But still, it's a great record made by a unique and visionary musician, one that he supported with a lengthy tour and is now part of the overarching history of Gary Numan, even if the pro-recorded live sets were never released from the 40-date 1983 tour.
