Vintage Descendents "I Don't Want To Grow Up" New Alliance Records T-Shirt

Descendents are a punk band from southern California founded in 1977. Their early period involved figuring out members and a sound, but once they recruited Milo Aukerman as their singer in the early 1980s things started to take shape. They were fast and aggressive but Milo brought in a melodic sensibility that made the songs memorable yet still snarky. As the name of their debut LP implied, Milo really did go to college and the band took a bit of a break. However, they regrouped and returned in 1985 with their sophomore album, I Don't Want To Grow Up, released on New Alliance. The A-side was more melodic and sometimes silly, self-deprecating punk, while the B-side saw the band getting a little darker and a little new wave at times. The band has had a few more breaks but has continued on ever since, only further cementing their status as SoCal punk legends. This original Descendents shirt, lightly worn and faded in great condition, is from the 1985 release of I Don't Want To Grow Up
