Danzing released their second album Lucifuge on Def American Recordings in 1990. Danzig, made up at that time of singer Glen Danzig (Misfits, Samhain), John Christ (Samhain), Eerie Von (Samhain), and Chuck Biscuits (DOA, Black Flag), returned to producer Rick Rubin (Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Slayer) to create another blues-influenced heavy rock record. While others might have seen this impressive lineage as daunting, Danzig was unfazed. They made incredible and timeless dark and devilish music and continued to do so, essentially become more and more legendary as time went on. This original Danzig poster, with a vertical crease, is from the 1990 release of Lucifuge and subsequent touring in support of it.
