Vintage Basquiat "Parco Gallery Tokyo" King For A Decade Double-Sided Poster

Jean-Michel Basquiat was an artist born in New York City in 1960. He came of age doing graffiti with a friend under the name SAMO, writing strange quotes throughout the city. He found success with painting in the early 80s and quickly made a name for himself, partially for the way he brought in the SAMO influence to the fine art world. Basquiat became well-known in the New York art scene, befriending such artists as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, and his work became even more well-regarded. Sadly, he passed away in 1988 at the age of 27 from a heroin overdose. He is still regarded as one of the most important artists of the late 20th century despite his brief time here. This original double-sided lithograph, with a horizontal crease in great condition, is from Basquiat exhibit at the Parco Gallery in Tokyo in 1997.

This poster comes with a horizontal crease and therefore will be shipped folded
