The Ren & Stimpy Show debuted in 1991 on Nickelodeon. The cartoon ran for five seasons and ushered in a new era of comedy for a new generation, one that was awkward and crude and nonsensical. It proved to be an influential and important show, but more than that it was just funny and cool.
