Mothra, the giant moth monster, was introduced in 1961. The kaiju famously fought Godzilla many times on the big screen. But there was more to Mothra than just Godzilla fights. Mothra was the star of the feature-length film Mothra 3: Invasion Of King Ghidorah, which was released in Japan in 1998 and on the Sci-Fi channel in the States in 2003. The Okihiro Yoneda-directed picture shows an epic fight between, you guessed it, Mothra and King Ghidorah, a three-headed monster who first appeared in Godzilla films in 1964. The movie was the final film in the Mothra franchise, at least for now. This original Mothra jacket, in great condition with minor cracking on the print, is from the movie Mothra 3: Invasion Of King Ghidorah.
