Miami Vice was a long-running crime television show that aired on NBC. The show, which featured Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Rico Tubbs, was a classically 80s-looking program, which at the time was new and exciting. It had cops running around in white suits with bright colored shirts solving crimes and peopled loved it. So much so that producer Michael Mann even revamped it into a feature length film in 2006.
