Magic: The Gathering is a card game designed by Richard Garfield and Peter Adkinson in 1993. Players customize their own decks with different cards and play against each other, casting spells and enlisting creatures to help inflict damage on one another. The game has risen in popularity ever since its inception and creators have regularly released new cards that change gameplay. This has in turn made cards desirable and therefore collectable. Ravnica: City Of Guilds is the 36th expansion to the game, a 306 card multi-colored set. It debuted in 2005, with pre-release taking place September 24-25. This original Magic: The Gathering shirt, lightly worn in excellent condition, is from the pre-release of the Ravnica expansion in 2005.
