Vintage The Stooges "Michigan" Raglan Shirt

The Stooges were a rock band from Ann Arbor, MI founded in 1967. At that point in time, rock n roll was still new, but it already had established norms of how things should sound and how they should look. The Stooges, which originally featured Iggy Pop on vocals, Ron Asheton on guitar, his brother Scott on drums, and Dave Alexander on bass, were one of the earliest bands to push these boundaries. They played an aggressive and antagonistic style of rock music and backed it up with an energetic live show that was unlike anything before. The band released two seminal records during their first incarnation, 1969's self titled and 1970's Fun House, and released another seminal one after getting back together with a slightly altered lineup, 1973's Raw Power. These records helped set the stage for punk and establish them as one of the premier bands of their time. They were eventually inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2010. This vintage Stooges raglan shirt, nicely worn and faded, features a promo shot of the band.
