François Girbaud and Marithé Bachellerie began making clothes together in the 1960s and founded their company, Marithé + François Girbaud, in 1972. They were known for working with denim, specifically for their stonewashing technique to age the fabric. This original Marithé + Francois Girbaud jacket from the 90s, lightly worn in great condition, is a boxy fitting and classic looking jean jacket.
