Hirax are a thrash metal band from Cypress, CA founded in 1984. They were one of the earliest bands playing fast metal along with their contemporaries like Metallica and Slayer. During their initial run, they released two LPs with Metal Blade before splitting up. They reformed in 2000 with their original lineup and released a comeback EP entitled El Diablo Negro with the CD on Black Devil Records and on 7" on Deep Six Records. They have continued on ever since, but now singer Katon W. De Pena remains the only original member. This original Hirax shirt, heavily faded in great condition, is from their reunion EP in 2000.
