Corrosion Of Conformity, the heavy metal band from North Carolina founded in 1982, released Wiseblood, their fifth album, in 1996. The album was the band's second on major label Columbia and got the band some pretty serious acclaim: they made it to #104 on the Billboard Top 200 and also were nominated for a Grammy for Best Metal Performance. Despite the success, the band was dropped by Columbia after its release. That didn't stop them, though, as they have continued on into the present day constantly playing and putting out music. This original Corrosion Of Conformity shirt, nicely worn and heavily faded, is from their 1997 tour in support of Wiseblood.
