Breakout Fanzine was a hardcore fanzine done by Mike Haliechuk, the guitarist of Fucked Up. This inaugural issue is text heavy, featuring interviews with Our War, No Warning, Andrew WK, and Brendan Mullen (the early LA punk promoter responsible for booking shows at venues like The Masque and later co-writing the oral history book We Got The Neutron Bomb) as well as a reprint of interviews with Youth Of Today and Dead Boys. In addition to the interviews, they also include write ups on early LA punk 7"s, reviews of punk books, and a Fucked Up tour diary. It is text heavy and loaded with lots of information, a great an involved read for the thorough-minded. This original issue of Breakout Fanzine is in great condition.
