War Hungry, the hardcore band from Wilkes-Barre, PA, released their debut 7" Divine Demonic on Richmond's Brain Grenade Records in in 2006. The band had only formed a few years earlier, but their sound had evolved substantially in that time, bringing in the swagger of southern rock with crossover leanings and apocalyptic lyrics. Wungy began making a mark in this era, especially for their live show, and quickly ascended to the upper echelon of hardcore, releasing another 7" on 1917 and touring the US and Europe alongside bands like Cold World and RZL DZL, before adding Arthur Rizk and evolving into a hard-to-pin-down metal and noise influenced hardcore band in a few short years. And while they're widely loved and revered now, it all started back in 2006 with these four songs. This original War Hungry Divine Demonic test press is in VG+ condition.
