Veruca Salt are an alt rock band from Chicago, IL. The group was founded in 1992 by Louise Post and Nina Gordon. They both sang and played guitar. After spending time in the underground circuit, they released their first single "Seether" and followed it up with their debut American Thighs. Both were a hit. The record went to #1 on Billboard's Heatseaker chart and were quickly signed by major label Geffen. They released their sophomore album Eight Arms To Hold You in 1997. Gordon left shortly after the album's release. The band has remained active ever since with Post never leaving and Gordon rejoining in 2013. This original Veruca Salt shirt, in great condition, is from the band's early days.
