The Vancouver Grizzlies were a professional basketball team. Founded in 1995, they were brought in as an expansion team alongside the Toronto Raptors to bring the NBA into Canada. Despite drafting such notable players as Mike Bibby and Shareef Abdur-Rahim, the team never made it to the playoffs. And then, after a few tumultuous years for the league, owners decided to move the team to Memphis where they continue to play to this day.
