Van Halen released Van Halen III in 1998. Despite its title, it is not the third Van Halen record, as they had been playing since the early 70s. What the title actually means is it was the band's third singer. First there was David Lee Roth, then there was Sammy Hagar, and finally, with III, there was Gary Cherone. The album went to #4 in the States and was supported with an extensive world tour that lasted from March until November of 1998. They played over 80 shows from everywhere from Australia to Atlantic City. This original Van Halen shirt, in great condition, is from the band's 1998 tour in support of III.
