The True Believers were a country tinged punk band from Austin, TX founded in 1982 by ex-members of The Nuns and The Zeros. While they started in the underground, they quickly found their way to the big leagues. The band released their debut album with major label EMI and even opened for Tom Petty. They broke up before the release of their sophomore LP, it was eventually released ten years later. This original True Believers flyer, with a few minor tears, is from an early punk show in Austin, TX.
