The Micronotz were a punk band fro Lawrence, KS founded in 1980. The quartet was an integral part of the early Kansas scene and began releasing records with the label that was the home that scene, Fresh Sounds, the label ran by Bill Rich who was also a local promoter. Eventually the Micronotz signed to Homestead Records before breaking up in 1986. They released three LPs and two EPs in total. The band reunited in 1993 for a memorial concert for bassist David Dale and then again in 2006 and have remained active again ever since. This original Micronotz shirt, in great condition, is from an early tour fro the band.
