Hardcore at CBGBs was most prominently featured on their Sunday matinees, when bands and attendees would cram into the Lower East Side venue starting at noon. The venue closed in 2006 and has since been replaced by a clothing store, but there were many great shows before that happened, and once its demise was announced they tried to have some more. In July of 2005, some classic NYHC bands reunited to play what was dubbed the "Last Matinee," including Killing Time, Underdog (both of whom played were also slated to play Posi Numbers that same month), Bulldoze, Sub Zero, and some newer bands like Billy Club Sandwich, Icepick, Homicidal, and Aggressive Threat. This original flyer, in great condition, is from the Last Matinee at CBGBs.
