Wish is The Cure's ninth record. The record came out in 1992. They formed in 1978. The band was already a huge success. They'd already done "Boys Don't Cry," Pornography, Disintegration, etc. and so forth. That is to say they were an established and well-loved band that people were already aware of. Wish, though, became the band's biggest record. It debuted at #1 in the UK and #2 in the States. Yes, the record had "Friday I'm In Love," which you've probably heard a million times shopping at the mall, but it also had "High" and "A Letter To Elise" among many others. It has since gone on to be certified Platinum, and more importantly has gone on to be certified a classic in the hearts of many, many fans across the entire world. This original Cure all over print shirt, nicely worn with a few spots from prolonged storage, is from the band's tour in support of their hit 1992 album Wish.
